Prompt: Reflect on the simile and metaphor worksheet. Which topic challenged you the most when creating your figurative language, and why? In your response, explain what made that topic difficult and how you worked through the challenge (or what you might do differently next time).

Prompt Response:  on my worksheet I decided to do one side simile the other side metaphors and on the one that I've struggled on the most was appearance-based judgments and for that I decided to do metaphors, i've personally never been told anything bad well not in my face and also not that I know of. It did challenge me the most because I started to think about how people viewed me but no one has ever been that old enough to tell me about their thoughts based on me. so instead I went off on compliments that I've had received throughout my life based on how I looked and it made a more easier for me to complete the assignment Summary: February 26, 2026 we worked on our Adobe assignment based off on our "rising in my own words" assignment Reflection:   I strive to be the best that I can be everyday in any way possible, to achieve my goals, in order to later on reach my long-term goals and live a peaceful life.

Prompt: Today you created similes and metaphors that reflect your struggles, growth, and resilience. In a well-developed paragraph, reflect on the process. What did you learn about yourself while writing your figurative language?

Prompt Response:  i learned that I'm not so good at understanding how to write out metaphors it confuses me a lot, but I'm pretty good at doing similes.i also i found out that I'm pretty good at comparing things with my personal situations. i understand how to identify sorts of figurative language. comparing things from them to now I've realized how much growth I've had growing up and how much i've learned, how differently i would take action on sorts of things that I would have done back then.  Summary: February 24 2026, In class we were given an assignment  Reflection:   I strive to be the best that I can be everyday in any way that I possibly can be, for the good of my mental, physical and spiritual health, and for my love ones.

Prompt: Describe how you spent your time, any activities, traditions, travel, hobbies, or moments that stood out to you. You may also discuss something new you tried, something you learned, or how the break helped you reset before returning to school. Keep your response appropriate for a school setting and focus on experiences you are comfortable sharing publicly

Prompt Response:  The way I like to spend my time is by getting as much rest as I can, this is because I tend to sleep late because I have a lot of trouble sleeping but mainly when i'm not resting I like to spend some time with my family and interact with them. I do have some "me time" where I like to do my hair, clean my closet, organize a few things, paint my toe nails, go shopping, do a facial, etc. At times I do work with my uncle in construction, I don't always work in it, I kind of do it as a side job for when I need money, money that my mom needs, and money for "just in case". I don't really go anywhere but sleeping over at my older sister's place and staying at my home. The break helped me reset by being strict on my sleeping schedule so I can get enough sleep to function throughout the school day.   Summary: February 23, 2026, Absent from school.  Reflection:   I strive to be the best that I can be everyday in any way that I possibly can be,...

Prompt: If you had to describe how you show love using only three objects (for example: a playlist, a hoodie, a late-night snack, a long text message, etc.), what would you choose and why? Explain what each object represents and how it connects to your personality.

Prompt Response:  one of the three objects I would use for showing love would me music, i always feel like i have a strong connection with the music i have bonded with and I continue to replay all day, If you ask me to play a song from a specific genre or if you're looking for a song with a specific feeling i feel like I would  automatically know. Music is like my Sanctuary i don't like to share it only with people I share personal bonds with. And I pretty much take music to the soul. Another would be McDonald's i'm obsessed with it. That is like the one main thing I would eat on a daily basis even though it is not healthy, But I just cannot help but love the Big Mac meal and you would be lucky enough for me to share because I don't even like to share. i would love you just how I love the Big Mac meal at McDonald's. the last thing would be long messages which is funny because i'm the type of person that would send paragraphs of me basically pouring out my ...

Prompt: In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life).

Prompt Response:  My idea of a perfect day would be buying things for this "person". I would get snacks that I would mainly like and perhaps a rose. I'd buy plenty to the point where we could share and maybe get 2 boxes of pizza because I prefer to have my own and I don't like sharing food unless it's snacks.  I also personally wouldn't like to hang out that much because I like my own alone time and I don't like being bothered or feeling like my personal space is being invaded as much and this goes for anyone like a friend, family member, or a "significant person", but i would be nice on this certain day because it is valentines day week but I wouldn't like to go overboard because I don't even like people hugging me.  Summary: February 9, 2026, Absent from school.  Reflection:   I strive to be the best that I can be everyday in any way, for the better of my mental health and so that my loved ones can get the best version of me that they...

Prompt: What is the best piece of advice of that your parent or guardian has given you? Tell what the advice was and what prompted you to ask the question.

Prompt Response:   I've gone through lots of personal things in my life and my main motive was  my older sister. My older sister explained that I didn't need to tell her everything if I didn't feel comfortable and that the most important thing was " you only got yourself in this life".  From there on I understood that only i can understand myself and my only limitation with myself.  I didn't need others to understand what I was going through but what I really needed to understand was myself. Long as I knew that I had me, then I knew I was going to be okay.  Summary:  February 6, 2026,  The Interactive Oral project was presented to me and I caught up on read for the book "Wild".  Reflection:      I strive to be the best that I can be everyday in any way possible. For the best of my future and for my health. Thank god every single day for what I have been blessed with.
