Judith Ortiz Cofer says, “The Island travels with you.” What part of your culture, family, or identity do you feel “travels” with you everywhere you go?

Prompt Response: My skin color, it's what I was born with. Anywhere that I go I think others already know my race or ethnicity. Why I think this is because another person can just come up to me and speak to me in Spanish without having to ask me if I'm Hispanic, because of my skin and my looks it is already easy to tell if I'm Hispanic or not.

Summary: Today August 28, 2025. In class I did the blog post and am currently working on the 3 assignments in common lit.

Reflection: I strive to be the best that I can everyday, anytime. I am going to build a strong future for myself and get my grades on a good level.
