 Prompt Response: The conversation that was held about the unfair job system and racial discrimination made me think about how nothing has really changed and that things like these still continue to happen. there are people that don't change their ways and stay with this mindset all because a person is a different color from them. If I was in Troy's position I'd still try my very best to go out and seek jobs even if it meant to work two jobs because in life you don't tend to go anywhere without having money. 

Summary: September 25, 2025. In class we went over what certain words meant from the book with negative, neutral, or positive meanings.  

Reflection: I strive to be the best that I can be everyday in any way possible. To reach my goals and aim for my long term goals in the future.

  Prompt Response:  A conversation that changed me was when I had a hard conversation with my mother about who your friends are. At this moment in time I believed that friends were the 1 thing that I needed in my life, my mother had to speak to me about looking out who your friends should be and are.   Prompt Response:  A classmate' s story-map that really stood out to me would be Christopher's. I say this because when he was presenting he would get out of what he already had written down and give more detail to his story-map presentation. I like how he was loud and straight-forward, I could tell that it was very personal to him as well since he put a lot of thought and consideration to his story.  Summary: September 18, 2025, in class we did presentations, everybody got a go. After presentations the class was making up work that they had missing.  Reflection:  I strive to be the best that I can be everyday in any way possible, to achieve my present goals and to reach my future long term goals.

Prompt: What would you do: tell your friend to confess, tell their partner yourself, or stay quiet? Explain your choice, using ideas about loyalty and consequences from Fences. How might your decision affect everyone involved?

  Prompt Response:  I personally think it isn't my business, but i would try to talk my friend into some sense. I wouldn't wanna get myself involved in situations that don't include me unless it wants me to be included, but no female deserves to be treated or lead on thinking that their partner is being faithful but isn't. If my friend was to do this i would address him where they are wrong and tell them to be straight forward with their partner and straighten it out and figure out a way to resolve it.  Summary: October 1, 2025, in class we read Fences and people played their parts and then got to working on our posters.  Reflection:  I strive to be the best that i can be everyday in any way possible, so that i can reach my goals and achieve my long term goals in the future.
