Reflect on a specific gender expectation imposed by your culture that has been the most challenging to navigate. In 2-3 sentences, describe one clear example of this expectation and explain why it has been difficult for you. Ensure your response is concise, vivid, and focused on personal experience.

Prompt Response: Growing up around my family, every female is expected to be a good daughter or in order words act like a housewife at a young age. From what I can remember, especially at home family hangouts with cousins, every female is expected to help around with cooking meals, cleaning and setting this up correctly, caring for the younger ones and the older male or the teen males would just sit around and talk or just have the luxury sit down and do nothing and play video games and speak about sports. In a Hispanic household the daughters are always helping the mother in the kitchen or around the house while the males aren't expected to do anything nor expected to do the same chores.  One of the toughest challenges i have to experience is knowing that it's very unfair and can make you feel very stressed.

Summary: Monday September 8, 2025. Today we read the story " I want a wife" by Judy Brady.

Reflection: I strive to be the best that I can be everyday in any way, to reach my goals and to become what I strive to be in the future.
