Prompt: Before the Civil War, most people saw nothing wrong with children working long hours. Over time, people began to see it as unfair and even cruel. What is something that society once accepted but now sees as wrong, or something we still accept today that might be viewed as wrong in the future? Explain your reasoning.

 Prompt Response: The amount of time that a person spends on their phone or being on social media. It can really badly affect mental health, relationships, and corrupt a human beings attention span. It is too normal now that it is hardly addressed and highly influenced, hopefully in the future people can see how constant screen time can be very damaging and harmful, just how child labor is also viewed as cruel and unhealthy.

Reflection: I strive to be the best that i can be everyday in any way possible, so that i can reach my short term goals and later on in the future achieve my long term goals and live in my form of peace in life.

  Prompt Response:  A classmate' s story-map that really stood out to me would be Christopher's. I say this because when he was presenting he would get out of what he already had written down and give more detail to his story-map presentation. I like how he was loud and straight-forward, I could tell that it was very personal to him as well since he put a lot of thought and consideration to his story.  Summary: September 18, 2025, in class we did presentations, everybody got a go. After presentations the class was making up work that they had missing.  Reflection:  I strive to be the best that I can be everyday in any way possible, to achieve my present goals and to reach my future long term goals.

Prompt: What would you do: tell your friend to confess, tell their partner yourself, or stay quiet? Explain your choice, using ideas about loyalty and consequences from Fences. How might your decision affect everyone involved?

  Prompt Response:  I personally think it isn't my business, but i would try to talk my friend into some sense. I wouldn't wanna get myself involved in situations that don't include me unless it wants me to be included, but no female deserves to be treated or lead on thinking that their partner is being faithful but isn't. If my friend was to do this i would address him where they are wrong and tell them to be straight forward with their partner and straighten it out and figure out a way to resolve it.  Summary: October 1, 2025, in class we read Fences and people played their parts and then got to working on our posters.  Reflection:  I strive to be the best that i can be everyday in any way possible, so that i can reach my goals and achieve my long term goals in the future.
