 Prompt Response: The one significant lesson that stood out to me the most is this most recent one about cultural stereotypes. This lesson is very meaningful to me in so many ways including my very own personal experiences that I have encountered growing up. I think it is very important for parents to not mislead their children and for the people around them into thinking that other people from different cultures are dangerous or something you need to be cautious about. My parents understand and speak English to an extent and dress completely different as well and growing up I feared that someday my father would get into some physical altercation is his skin color the way he dressed, the way his indigenous looks stood out and the language he grew up speaking. I've had a few encounters like these with both my parents and I love them dearly and fear that anything will ever happen to them. I have also experienced this with strangers in public, it is completely heartbreaking but i don't tend to pay much attention because I no longer allow words from others to affect me that deeply. Everyone in this world is completely different,  everyone has their own likes and interests and they are defined by their own soul. Stereotypes are important to learn to be aware of what can hurt the type of people you meet along the way of your life.
